Meet Capt. Mark Hamilton
A Lifetime of Fishing Led Here
Some people discover fishing later in life.
For Capt. Mark Hamilton, it's simply always been there.
Mark has fished his whole life and spent years thinking about the day when he could turn that passion into his own charter business.
Now that day is here.

Learning the Game in the Florida Keys
From Key Largo to Islamorada
Before the Navy, Mark worked as a mate on multiple boats from Key Largo through Islamorada.
That meant long days chasing mahi, sailfish, tuna and wahoo, plus plenty of time bottom fishing. Rigging baits, working the cockpit and watching how good crews find fish.
That experience still shows up on every MACSEA trip.

FROM THE NAVY TO THE WATER
The Next Chapter
After a career in the Navy, Capt. Mark was ready for what came next.
And what he wanted next wasn't complicated.
He wanted to fish.
MACSEA Fishing is the result: a chance to spend more time on the water, run his own charter operation and introduce other people to something he's enjoyed for a lifetime.
The discipline and responsibility that came with Mark's military career still matter aboard the boat, but MACSEA Fishing isn't about being formal.
It's about enjoying the day, taking care of the people aboard and doing everything we can to find some fish.
Why MACSEA Fishing?
Because This Is What Mark Loves Doing
Mark didn't start MACSEA Fishing because charter fishing looked like a good business opportunity.
He started it because running a fishing charter was something he had wanted to do for years.
That matters when you spend a day with someone.
You're fishing with a captain who actually wants to be there, wants to find the bite and enjoys watching other people experience the same excitement that kept him fishing all these years.

First Trip or Hundredth Trip
You're Welcome Aboard
MACSEA Fishing isn't reserved for hardcore anglers.
If you've spent your whole life fishing, come fish.
If your kids have never held a saltwater rod, come fish.
If you're visiting Jacksonville and want to experience the coast from somewhere other than the beach, come fish.
Capt. Mark will meet you where you are and help you get the most out of the day.
